PRIVACY POLICY — YEO CARGO LLC
Â
Yeo Cargo operates this website and its door-to-door shipping services, including the data, content, features, tools, products, and services we provide to give you, the customer, a curated shopping and shipping experience (the "Services"). Yeo Cargo uses Shopify technology for its store and website, and additional channels such as WhatsApp Business to manage your shipments. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase, a shipment, or any other transaction through the Services, or when you otherwise communicate with us, including the physical drop-off of your cargo at our facilities. In the event of a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy will govern with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed as set out herein.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term "personal information," we mean any data that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you or another individual. Personal information does not include data collected anonymously or that has been de-identified so that it can no longer identify or reasonably be linked to you. We may collect or process the following categories of personal information — including inferences drawn from such information — depending on how you interact with the Services, where you reside, and what is permitted or required by applicable law:
- Contact details, including your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
- Information about the recipient of your shipment, including the name, address, and phone number of the person who will receive your shipment in the destination country, as provided by you as the sender.

- Financial information, including credit card, debit card, and financial account numbers, payment card information, transaction details, payment method, payment confirmation, and other payment-related information.
- Account information, including your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
- Information about your shipments and transactions, including items you view, add to your cart, or ship, as well as declared contents, weight, declared value, and your shipment and transaction history.
- Communications with us, including information you provide when communicating with us via WhatsApp Business, email, phone, or other channels, for example when submitting a customer service inquiry.
- Device information, including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information, including information about your interaction with the Services, such as how and when you use or browse them.
About third-party information (shipment recipients): when you provide us with information about the recipient of your shipment, you represent and warrant that you have that person's necessary authorization to share their personal information with us. We use that information solely for delivery, customs processing, and communication purposes related to the applicable shipment.

We may collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you, including when you create an account, visit or use the Services, drop off your cargo at our facilities, communicate with us via WhatsApp Business or other channels, or otherwise provide us with your personal information.
- Automatically through the Services, including information from your device when you use our products or services or visit our websites, as well as through the use of cookies and similar technologies.
- From our service providers, including when we engage them to enable certain technology or when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf.
- From our logistics partners or other third parties, including transportation operators, freight consolidators, and last-mile partners involved in delivering your shipment.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Depending on how you interact with us or which Services you use, we may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide, personalize, and improve the Services. We use your personal information to provide the Services, including fulfilling our contract with you, processing your payments, managing your orders and shipments, remembering your preferences, sending you notifications related to your account or shipment, handling purchases, returns, exchanges, or other transactions, creating, maintaining, and managing your account, arranging shipping and delivery through our logistics partners, managing applicable customs processes, and providing you with a personalized experience.
- Marketing and advertising. We use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as sending you commercial, advertising, and promotional communications by email, WhatsApp, text message, or mail, and displaying online advertisements about products or services.
- Security and fraud prevention. We use your personal information to authenticate your account, provide a secure shopping and shipping experience, detect, investigate, or take action against potentially fraudulent, illegal, dangerous, or malicious activity, protect public safety, and ensure the security of our services.
- Communicating with you. We use your personal information to provide customer support, respond to your requests, deliver services effectively, and maintain our business relationship with you.
- Legal reasons. We use your personal information to comply with applicable law — including U.S. customs regulations and those of the destination country — or to respond to valid legal process, including requests from law enforcement or government authorities, as well as to investigate or participate in civil discovery, potential or actual litigation, or other adversarial legal proceedings, and to enforce or investigate possible violations of our terms or policies.
How We Disclose Personal Information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:
- With Shopify, vendors, and other third parties that provide services on our behalf (for example, IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, and order and shipment management).
- With customs and government authorities in the country of origin and destination — including, without limitation, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Colombia's national customs and tax authority (DIAN), and Venezuela's customs authorities — as necessary to process, clear, and release your shipment.
- With our logistics partners and transportation operators, including ground carriers, freight consolidators in Miami, and last-mile partners in the destination country, who receive the recipient's necessary information to complete delivery.
- With business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and display advertising to you. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to tell us not to share information about you for personalized advertising and marketing purposes.
- When you direct, request, or otherwise consent to the disclosure of certain information to third parties.
- With our affiliates, or more generally within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger or insolvency proceeding, to comply with applicable legal obligations (including responding to subpoenas, search warrants, or other similar requests), to enforce the Terms of Service or applicable policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.
