Fragile Merchandise and Packaging

YEO CARGO LLC is not responsible for fragile merchandise that is not properly packaged for export, for physical or internal damage to merchandise, and/or for boxes that exceed the recommended or supportable weight for the box.

Declared Value (Carrier's Limitation of Liability)

YEO CARGO LLC offers declared-value levels (optional, highly recommended) to protect the value of your belongings during transit. This section does not constitute, and should not be interpreted as, an insurance contract; it is the contractual limitation of liability assumed by YEO CARGO LLC as the carrier with respect to your shipment.

Level 1 Cost: USD $5.00 per box. Maximum declared value: USD $100.00 Applies to: Total loss, disappearance, or theft of the box only. Claim requirements: A commercial invoice is not required. Exclusions: Does not cover damage, breakage, fragile items, partial shortages, customs seizures, or misdeclared merchandise.

Level 2 Cost: USD $10.00 per box. Maximum declared value: USD $200.00 Applies to: Total loss, disappearance, or theft of the box only. Claim requirements: A commercial invoice is not required. Exclusions: Does not cover damage, breakage, fragile items, partial shortages, customs seizures, or misdeclared merchandise.

Level 3 — Full Coverage Cost: 10% of the declared value. Maximum liability: Up to 100% of the declared value. Applies to: Partial or total losses, or provable theft, subject to evaluation. Mandatory requirements: Original invoice for the contents. Mandatory inspection prior to shipment. Adequate packaging. Clear photographic and documentary evidence of the loss or theft. Exclusions: Does not cover damage, breakage, fragile items, customs seizures, or misdeclared merchandise.

Level 4 — Premium Electronic Equipment Cost: 20% of the declared value. Maximum liability: Up to 100% of the declared value. Applies to: Partial or total losses, or provable theft, subject to evaluation. Mandatory requirements: Original invoice for the equipment. Mandatory inspection prior to shipment. Approved packaging. Clear photographic and documentary evidence of the loss or theft. Exclusions: Does not cover damage, breakage, fragile items, customs seizures, or misdeclared merchandise.

Absolute limitation of liability without declared value: If the CUSTOMER does not declare a value, declares an incorrect value, fails to provide an invoice, or fails to meet the requirements established for the declared-value level chosen, YEO CARGO LLC will have no obligation whatsoever to indemnify, reimburse, or compensate the CUSTOMER. In such cases, any compensation will be exceptional, discretionary, and non-binding, and will not constitute a precedent. Under no circumstances will YEO CARGO LLC reimburse costs incurred in paying freight charges to the shipping line, airline, and/or their transportation partners; it will only reimburse the value of the package/box in accordance with the declared-value level purchased. If a claim on merchandise with a declared value is approved, the corresponding amount will be issued as a credit balance to the customer's mailbox account for the payment of future shipments.

In the event of a loss, total theft, or disappearance of merchandise, if the CUSTOMER has chosen not to declare the value of their belongings, we will only cover USD $1.00 per pound shipped, up to a maximum of USD $100.00, which will be issued as a credit balance to the mailbox account for the payment of future shipments.

Customs Inspection and Prohibited Materials

The CUSTOMER acknowledges that their merchandise is subject to inspection and to the security regulations imposed by authorities and entities related to the transportation of goods, both in the country of origin and in the destination country.

The import and transport of goods that are prohibited from sale nationally or in the countries of origin and destination, or that are harmful, hazardous, or toxic to health, as well as environmental pollutants, is strictly prohibited; the CUSTOMER will be responsible for any resulting civil, criminal, or administrative penalties.

The following materials are considered prohibited for import, under this list or any items added in the future in accordance with the customs laws of the countries involved:

• Alcoholic beverages
• Perfumes
• Cosmetics
• Medicines and drugs, prescription (including CBD) or over-the-counter
• Chemical products
• Seeds
• Electronic cigarettes (vapes)
• Cryptocurrency mining machines (Antminer)
• Securities, cash, traveler's checks, credit and/or debit cards, and documents
• Used or refurbished electronic items (cell phones, computers, laptops, servers, among others)
• Tobacco and cigarettes
• Gold jewelry and high-value items (works of art, precious stones)
• Live or dead animals, untreated hides, natural plants
• Firearms or their components, knives, blades, ammunition, air or paintball guns, or replicas
• Ball bearings and bearings of any material
• Ski masks and helmets of any kind (kevlar, motorcycle, bicycle, climbing, among others)
• Gas masks
• Slingshots of any kind
• Leather work gloves
• Fishing weights
• Canes/walking sticks
• Safety glasses
• Baseball/softball bats and balls
• Vehicle oils (cars, motorcycles, or others)
• Vehicle batteries (cars, motorcycles, or others)
• Drones
• Antacids / Neosporin
• Counterfeit ("pirated") goods
• Pornographic material
• Compressed gases, flammable items, spray paint, tear gas, hairspray, or deodorants in the same aerosol format
• Flammable, toxic, corrosive, or oxidizing products, matches
• Medical instruments and glassware

Shipping more than three (3) items of the same category in a single box will be considered an import for commercial purposes.
